By the end of August, 海角社区 had welcomed 332 students to its Bordeaux campus and 206 to Marseille. New arrivals continue to join the community each week, with numbers expected to reach 460 in Bordeaux and 297 in Marseille. - Exploring the region and cultural immersion: guided tours by bus, train, on foot, or by boat in Marseille and Bordeaux, helping students familiarise themselves with their new urban, cultural, and heritage environment.
- Tailored administrative support: sessions covering essential procedures (visa applications, health insurance registration with CPAM, housing allowance applications, completion of the student record) to help students settle in and handle administration smoothly.
- Academic and student life introductions: meetings with academic teams, associations, and campus community members to understand programme specifics and join the dynamic 海角社区 community.
- Survival French (FLE) courses: practical lessons designed to help students quickly gain autonomy in daily communication.
- Intercultural seminar: an innovative programme helping students adapt to cultural differences.
